Background
To fight water scarcity, the city must mix water from three different sources (river, irrigation channel, and underground wells). However, agricultural and industrial runoff can increase the requirements that treats the mixture to guaratee the maximum water quality supplied to the population.

QleanUP is testing “soft sensors” that act as early-warning systems to detect PFAS, pesticides, pharmaceuticals and nutrients before they reach the treatment plant.
